Ghana defender Baba Rahman nets consolation goal for PAOK in defeat at Aris

Ghana international, Baba Rahman was one of the top performers for PAOK FC on Sunday afternoon when the team locked horns with Aris in the Greek Super League.

The defender started in his team’s defense today in the Round 17 contest of the ongoing league campaign.

In the game, Aris had the better of PAOK FC and bagged all the three points after outscoring the visiting team.

Aris took a narrow 1-0 lead into the halftime break courtesy of a strike from Shapi Suleymanov in the 17th minute.

After recess, the hosts equalized again through Kike Saverio just a minute before the hour mark to double their lead.

Despite the efforts of PAOK FC to get back into the game, the team only managed to score a consolation goal.

A 75th-minute strike from Ghana full-back Baba Rahman inspired Paok FC to keep pushing but the team failed to score again and suffered a 2-1 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.

With his goal today, the Ghana defender now has three goals and two assists after making 13 appearances in the Greek Super League.
