Ghana defender Baba Rahman starts pre-season with Chelsea

Ghana international, Baba Abdul Rahman has joined his Chelsea teammates for pre-season as the club prepares for the 2021/2022 football season.

The defender was left on the sidelines last season in the first round of the 2020/2021 football campaign where he was not involved in the first team.

After six months of frustration, the left-back finally earned a loan move to join PAOK in Greece.

At the club, he found his feet and enjoyed regular playing time that resulted in lifting the domestic cup at the end of the season.

After short holiday period in Ghana, Baba Rahman has traveled to England where he has now commenced pre-season training.

He will hope to impress manager Thomas Tuchel in pre-season to have chances of playing for the senior team of the Blues next season.

Last season, it was frustration under Frank Lampard when he decided to stay and fight for his place. While the future is unclear for Baba Rahman, sources tell footballghana.com that he is willing to give his all to earn the trust of Blues boss Thomas Tuchel.
