Ghana defender Daniel Amartey plays full throttle in Leicester City’s 3-0 win against MK Dons

Ghana international, Daniel Amartey was in action for Leicester City on Tuesday night when the team played against MK Dons in the EFL Cup.

Following the conclusion of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, club football is finally returning all around the world.

On Tuesday night, MK Dons hosted Leicester City in Round 16 of the 2022/23 EFL Cup.

Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey started the game for his Foxes and helped the team to keep a clean sheet.

During the game, Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans scored in the 18th minute to give Leicester the lead.

Ten minutes later, Ayoze Perez also got his name on the score sheet to double the lead for the visitors.

With MK Dons failing to get better in the second half, another goal from Jamie Vardy in the 50th minute sealed a delightful 3-0 win for Leicester City.

On the matchday, Ghana’s Daniel Amartey lasted the entire duration of the contest.

He is in good shape despite playing in all three matches of the Black Stars at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
