Ghana defender Daniel Amartey scored for Leicester City in their 1-1 draw against Spartak Moscow in UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.
Amartey lasted the entire duration of the game as the Foxes picked a point to leave their hopes of qualifying from Group C in the balance.
The Foxes are third in a tight group with two games remaining and Brendan Rodgers' side will rue a failure to take three points on Thursday.
Leicester started well and Amartey skidded a shot wide while Iheanacho's early sighter was easily dealt with by Selikhov.
The Ghanaian opened the scoring for the host after meeting Ayoze Perez's flick-on with a firm header.
Former Chelsea and Liverpool forward Victor Moses then hauled down Ademola Lookman in the box but Vardy's spot-kick was uncharacteristically timid and goalkeeper Aleksandr Selikhov got down comfortably to parry it away.
Leicester are two points behind group leaders Napoli, who have seven points after thumping second-placed Legia Warsaw 4-1 earlier.
