Ghana international Daniel Amartey is looking forward to scoring more goals at new club Besiktas.
The Black Stars defender scored on his first appearance for Besiktas during their 2-0 win over FK Tirana in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Having scored just three goals in about 145 games for Leicester City, Amartey is looking forward to better his goal scoring at the Turkish club.
“I played 7 years in Leicester, played 145 matches, I could only score 3 goals. I had a goal celebration in my first match here. Beşiktaş has been lucky for me. I will continue to search for goals in set pieces. I hope I continue to score goals like this.” He said.
The experienced defender signed for the Turkish Super Lig club in July on a free transfer after ending his stay in England where he played for Leicester City.
