Ghana defender John Boye is yet to recover from the injury picked up during the International break.

The defender has not participated in training since returning to the Turkish club during the break.

John Boye could not feature in any of Ghana’s world Cup qualifiers earlier this month after he picked the knock during training.

The 28 year old injury is a big blow for Sivasspor as they seek to place a better position in the Turkish top flight.

The Ghanaian helped the club gain promotion from the lower division after winning the second tier league.

John Boye, Vitali Djakov and Muhammet Demir all did not participate in training ahead of their trip to Osmanlisopor on Saturday.

Sivasspor lost this weekend to Asamoah Gyan’s Kayserispor, however, the Ghana captain could not play as he was also nursing injury.
