Ghana international, John Boye is among the players that have left French club, FC Metz, this summer.

The experienced defender joined the French Ligue 1 outfit in 2018 from Turkish Super Lig club Sivasspor.

After spending three years in France, the centre-back has parted ways with FC Metz this summer upon the expiry of his contract.

On the back of his exit, the club has also confirmed that Thierry Ambrose has been transferred to Belgian side KV Ostende.

In addition to the two players, Mathieu Cachbach, Amadou Ndiaye, and Youssef Maziz have also left the club.

The trio are however still players of FC Metz as they have been shipped out on loan to ensure they get more playing time to continue their development.

John Boye, 34, is currently a free agent but sources say he is in talks for a return to Turkey.
