Ghana international, Joseph Aidoo has expressed his excitement after winning the Player of the Month award at Spanish outfit Celta Vigo.
The defender after being left out of the Ghana squad for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, concentrated on club football in January.
With chances to play, Joseph Aidoo excelled for Celta Vigo and as a result, has been named the club’s Player of the Month in the Spanish La Liga.
Speaking on his award, the centre-back says he is delighted about the award and keen on working hard to help his club.
"I am satisfied with my game and also with that of my teammates. I'm confident," he said after receiving the Estrella Galicia award for the best sky-blue player in January.
The defender is in line for more starting roles this month as Celta Vigo pushes for a strong display in the second round of the Spanish La Liga season.
