Ghana defender Kasim Adams sent off during FC Basel’s defeat at home to Slovan Bratislava

Ghana international, Kasim Nuhu Adams was in action for FC Basel on Thursday night when the team hosted FK Slovan Bratislava in the Europa Conference League.

The Swiss giants today locked horns with the matchday three opponent of Group H of this season’s Conference League hoping to amass maximum points.

Although FC Basel will put up a strong showing in the first half, the team could not get on the scoresheet.

The side however managed to keep a clean sheet in the second half with Kasim Nuhu Adams putting up a Fantastic display in the heart of defense.

Unfortunately, FK Slovan Bratislava had already scored twice in the first half and held on to secure the maximum three points.

It was all thanks to goals from Lukas Pauschek and Aleksandar Cavric in the last 10 minutes of the first half.

Late in the game when tempers flared, Ghana defender Kasim Nuhu was show the red card after a second yellow card attracted for too much complaining.

He will now miss his team’s next match of the Conference League.
