Ghana defender Kasim Nuhu earns impressive statistics in Europa Conference League

Ghana international Kasim Nuhu Adams has earned an impressive statistics following his swashbuckling performance for FC Basel in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The former Black Stars defender scored the winning goal to propel FC Basel to the semi-finals last week.

The 27-year-old scored in extra time to as the Swiss giants overpowered French side OGC Nice with a 2-1 victory in the second leg of their quarter-final tie.

Basel progressed on a 4-3 aggregate since the first leg ended 2-2 last week in Switzerland.

Per statistics released by UEFA, the on-loan Hoffenheim defender had the most clearance (13) in the quarterfinals second leg encounters.

Adams teammate Michael Lang come second with 8 clearance whiles Jan Vertonghen of Club Brugge and Joseph Okumu are tied on 7 clearances each.

Basel will face Italian club Fiorentina in the semi-finals of the Conference League this month.
