Ghana international Tariq Lamptey has reacted to Brighton and Hove Albion’s victory over Stoke City in the English FA.

The Premier League club defeated Stoke City 1-0 to advance to the next stage of the Cup competition.

Lamptey started and lasted the entire duration, playing on the left side of defence for the English Premier League side.

Evan Ferguson's first half strike ensured the Seagulls defeated Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium to advance to the next stage.

"Job done, into the next round! Thank you for the support as always!," Lamptey wrote on Twitter.

Lamptey is expected to make the Black Stars squad for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Angola.

Ghana will play host to Angola on March 23 before the reverse fixture in Luanda on March 27.

The 22-year-old is expected to feature in all games following an injury to his competitor Alidu Seidu.
