The Black Stars have suffered a drop in the latest FIFA rankings for the month of November following an uninspiring 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifications.

The four-time Africa Cup of Nations winners moved from the 60th place to the 61st place after recording one win and one defeat during the November international break.

Ghana opened the World Cup qualifiers with a hard-fought win against Madagascar at the Baba Yara Stadium before losing narrowly to Comoros at the Moroni Stadium.

Despite the drop in the World, the four-time African champions remains 11th on the continent.

The West African powerhouse are still out of the top ten countries on the continent.

Ghana will turn their attention to the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be staged in Ivory Coast next year.

The tournament has been scheduled between January 13 through to February 11, 2024.
