Ghanaian duo Majeed Ashimeru and Mohammed Kudus will square off in a pre-season friendly game today, July 16, 2021.
Mohammed Kudus will lead Ajax to face his compatriot Majeed Ashimeru’s Anderlecht in Brussels as both teams prepare for the 2021/22 football season.
The pair have hit the ground running since departure the country for greener pastures.
Majeed Ashimeru graduated from West Africa Football Academy whereas Mohammed Kudus is a product from Right to Dream Academy.
The former Red Bull Salzburg midfield gem who joined the Belgium outfit on permanent basis this summer played full throttle in the side’s last game against AZ Alkmaar.
On the other hand, Kudus secured a move to the Dutch giants last summer after a descent performance with FC Nordsjaelland.
The versatile playmaker featured and scored in their 4-1 triumph over Paderborn O7 in their last preseason game.
He has two goals from the pre-season games he has featured for the club.
The game is scheduled for 17:30GMT/ 5:30pm at the Lotto Park in the Belgium capital, Brussels.
