The Ghana Football Association has denied reports suggesting striker David Accam has received a late call-up to join the team ahead of Sunday's 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt.

David Accam's club side Chicago Fire claimed on Tuesday morning that their top striker had been invited to join the Ghana team in Dubai.
But the Ghana Football Association posted on their official twitter page denying Accam's call up.
"ATTENTION: David Accam has not been invited to join the Black Stars for the Egypt game on Sunday as speculated in the media."
