Yaw Annor recently left Ghana to play in Egypt after signing his contract he is yet to kick a ball for his new club.
The former AshantiGold striker Yaw Annor was crowned the goal king of the Ghana Premier League for the 2021/2022 season. The striker scored 22 goals to get the golden boot award in Ghana.
Reacting to the claims that the Ghana FA is preventing Yaw Annor from playing Prosper Harrison Addo said
“It is a misconception that the FA have prevented Yaw Annor from playing the FA have not done that ITC request was sent for Ashgold as you know Ashgold are suspended the FA does not respond to a suspended club. When you are suspended you lose certain rights, from our own status we cant do transfer for Ashgold FA has not prevented Yaw Annor, the FA has no issue with Yaw Annor," he said on Happy FM as monitored by footballghana.com
"We have clearly stated how Yaw Annor can be registered and can play. The FA has not said that Yaw Annor cannot be registered or Yaw Annor shouldn’t play in Egypt in fact we have clearly indicated that to them. FA has no problem with Yaw Annor,”
