Ghana FA General Secretary Prosper Addo welcomes FC Epiphany Warriors to Women's Premier League

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) General Secretary, Prosper Harrison Addo, has extended his congratulations to FC Epiphany Warriors for their impressive performance in the 2023/24 GFA Regional Women's Championship.

In a tweet on his official X page on Wednesday, Addo welcomed the team to the Women's Premier League (WPL), saying, "Congratulations to FC Epiphany Warriors. Welcome to the @WPLGhana Decider between Halifax Queens and Luta Thunder Ladies on Friday."

FC Epiphany Warriors secured their spot in the WPL after a dominant 4-0 victory over Samartex Ladies in Group A of the GFA Regional Women's Championship on Wednesday. The team currently sits at the top of Group A with 12 points, three points ahead of second-place Halifax Ladies. Luta Thunder Ladies are in third place with six points, followed by Mfantseman Ladies and Rootz Sistaz, both with three points, and Samartex Ladies in last place with three points.

The WPL Decider between Halifax Queens and Luta Thunder Ladies is set to take place on Friday, and FC Epiphany Warriors will be looking to make a strong impression in their debut season in the top flight of Ghanaian women's football.
