Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has pledged his unwavering support to the Black Stars' technical team, despite recent criticism from fans.

“For far we have started well, we have given them our utmost support and we will support them all the way,” Okraku stated on the sidelines of a CAF seminar.

The Black Stars’ qualification campaign has started badly, drawing widespread backlash from supporters. The team, led by head coach Otto Addo, has struggled in its opening matches.

Ghana's first game in Group F, played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, resulted in a 1-0 loss to Angola. The team's poor performance continued in their second game, where they managed only a 1-1 draw against Niger in Berkane, Morocco. Alidu Seidu opened the scoring for Ghana, but Niger’s Oumar Sako equalized in added time.

Ghana will face Sudan in October, hoping to secure a much-needed victory in both upcoming matches.
