Ghana international Bernard Tekpetey starred for Ludogorets in their big win over Lokomotiv Sofia in the Bulgarian top-flight on Saturday.

The in-form Ghanaian attacker was called to action when Ludogorets cruised to an emphatic win over their opponent in the week 25 of the top-tier league.

Putting on a stellar performance, the former Schalke 04 star registered his name on the scoresheet as his outfit inflicted a 6-0 win over Lokomotiv Sofia at the Huvepharma Arena.

Compatriot, Kwadwo Duah scored to open the scoring fort Ludogorets after just two minutes into the game before Ivailo Chochev extended the lead for the host in the 38th minute after he was set up by the Swiss-born Ghanaian.

Two minutes to the halftime break, Duah bagged his second assist in the game after setting up his compatriot Bernard Tekpetey to score his side third goal.

After the break, Duah hit the back of the net again, his second in the game to make it 4-0 for the home team.

Ludogorets continued their demolishing exercise as Rwan Seco fired home his outfit fifth goal of the match in the 57th minute mark before Aslak Fonn Witry sealed victory in the 88th minute.

Tekpetey lasted 71 minutes in the game before he was replaced by Rai Nascimento.

The 26-year-old is enjoying an amazing season in Bulgaria, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in 22 games in the top-flight.

Despite his fine form, he has been excluded from the Black Stars to face Nigeria and Uganda during the March international break.
