Ghana international Caleb Ekuban could not hide his joy on Sunday evening after scoring to seal a 2-1 win for Trabzonspor against Fatih Karagümrük in the Turkish Super Lig.
The highly-rated attacker was in action for the team yesterday having earned a starting role to face the matchday opponent.
Putting in a good shift, Caleb Ekuban provided an assist for his team’s first goal before later on finding the back of the net to ensure Trabzonspor bagged all three points at the end of the match.
Speaking in a post-match interview, the Black Stars asset expressed his delight while noting that he celebrated wildly to entertain his teammates.
"Today I wanted to reflect my feelings on the field when I went on the field. I am very happy that I scored the winning goal. The joy of the goal was a move I made to entertain my teammates.
“The source of energy is my teammates. When I lose the ball, they fight. I also wanted to entertain them,” Caleb Ekuban shared.
The Ghana forward has been key for Trabzonspor this season and is expected to be integral for the side as they push to challenge for the Turkish Super Lig title at the end of the campaign.
