Ghana forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh's outstanding performance for FC Zurich against FC Lugano earned him a spot on Sofascore's Swiss Super League team of the week.
The former Hearts of Oak striker inspired FC Zurich's 3-0 victory after scoring twice in the second half to spark a strong display from the host at the Letzigrund.
Afriyie Barnieh opened the scoring in the 68th minute before adding his second eight minutes later. Jonathan Okita sealed victory with ten minutes remaining.
He has two goals to his credit and it will further boost his confidence as he hopes to establish himself in the first team while aiming for a return to the Black Stars.
FC Zurich currently sits at the top of the League log with 7 points after playing three matches.
