Ghana international, Emmanuel Gyasi is set to stay at Spezia Calcio for the 2021/2022 football season despite the strong interest from a number of clubs, his agent Alessandro Benini has said.

Last week, speculations from Italy noted that the exciting attacker has courted interest from Torino and could move in the currently opened summer transfer window.

Speaking to torinogranata.it, however, Alessandro Benini who is the agent for Emmanuel Gyasi has rubbished those reports.

According to him, his client has a contract with Spezia Calcio that runs until 2023 and they are happy to continue the relationship with the Italian Serie A side.

“Yes, the contract was renewed last year and has no release clauses and therefore without the will of Spezia, we are not going anywhere. It was a nice renovation and we are happy.

“The renewal was a sign of mutual gratitude for what had been done up to that moment, we could also have expired, but it was not something we felt like doing, also because everything in life comes back,” the agent shared.

Alessandro Benini continued, “It was right to do so last year for everyone's peace of mind and they got there thanks to La Spezia and it was a good renewal so, I repeat, we are happy. Then for the future, we will see.”

In the last two seasons, Emmanuel Gyasi has been excellent for Spezia Calcio and will be key for the side in the 2021/2022 football season.
