Ghana international Emmanuel Gyasi will be working under new manager at Spezia ahead of the new season after the club parted ways with Leonardo Semplici.
Spezia suffered demotion from the Italian Serie A after defeat to Hellas Verona in the play-off.
The club are eyeing a quick return to the Italian top-flight and has now settled on Italian trainer Massimiliano Alvini as their new manager for the 2023/24 season.
Spezia will compete in the Serie B next season and will hope to make a return to the top-flight.
The former Torino FC U19 youth star will take charge of Spezia at the Stadio Alberto Picco until June 2024.
He will be counting on the Ghana international after being tasked to secure promotion back to the Serie A.
Meanwhile, Gyasi, who is the captain of Spezia has attracted interest from several club and could leave the club this summer.
