Ghana forward Ernest Nuamah rallies Lyon teammates to keep pushing after draw with Lorient

Ghana international, Ernest Nuamah has called on his Olympic Lyon teammates to keep fighting to turn around their current form.

The French Ligue 1 giants have had a difficult start to the 2023/24 football season.

Over the weekend, the team drew 3-3 with Lorient with Ernest Nuamah getting his name on the scoresheet with his first strike in the French Ligue 1.

Sharing his thoughts after the game, the Ghana forward called on his Lyon teammates to keep pushing to turn things around.

“Just getting started. Although we didn’t get the results every game is a step forward to find growth and unity. Let’s keep pushing forward to bounce back stronger,” Ernest Nuamah shared in a post on X.

Ernest Nuamah, 19, is part of Ghana’s squad for the October international break. He will be playing for the Black Stars in the international friendly matches against Mexico and USA.
