Ghana international Felix Afena-Gyan was unable to help Cremonese to secure qualification to the Copa Italia finals after sharing the spoils with Fiorentina in the second leg tie.
The Black Stars forward was handed a starting and lasted 70 minutes in his outfits pulsating goalless draw against Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Despite the stalemate, Fiorentina have secured a 2-0 qualification to the finals of the Copa Italia at the expense of Cremonese after victory in the first leg.
The 20-year-old has featured 23 games, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist since joining Cremonese in the summer of 2022.
Meanwhile, Joseph Alfred Duncan was an unused substitute for Fiorentina during the encounter.
Despite not playing a part in the game, his outfit Fiorentina have book a place in the final of this year’s Copa Italia.
Fiorentina will face Inter Milan in the final of the Copa Italia on May 24, 2023.
