Ghana forward Inaki Williams is four goals away from scoring 100 goals for Athletic Bilbao

Ghana international Inaki Williams strike against Girona in the Spanish La Liga clash on Monday took him a bit closer to achieving a new milestone for Athletic Bilbao.

The Black Stars forward was on target when his outfit cruised to a 3-2 win over inform Girona in the top-flight at the San Mames Stadium.

The goal was his 96th for the club since making his debut in 2014. Williams has spent almost his playing career with Athletic Bilbao and is gradually establishing himself as a legend.

Williams has featured in over 400 games and out of the 96 goals, 73 of them came from the Spanish top flight.

The Ghana international is now four goals away from reaching 100 goal feat for the Spanish club. he is likely to surpass the 100-goal mark before the end of the campaign.

This season, he has been sensational, scoring 9 goals and providing 3 assists in the La Liga.

Williams stands a chance of climbing up the club’s all-time topscorer list with his current contract expected to elapse in 2028.

The current record holder is Telmo Zarra, who scored an astonishing 335 goals in 15 years.
