Ghana forward Jordan Ayew wins Crystal Palace Player of the Month award for August

Ghana international Jordan Ayew has been named Player of the Month at Crystal Palace for October following his swashbuckling performance for the club.

Ayew has been the main man for the Eagles since the commencement of the 2023/24 English football season.

The Black Stars attacker has been outstanding for Crystal Palace both in the Premier League and the Carabao Cup.

The former Marseille forward has provided two assists in the Premier League in 3 games. He assisted his side only goal when they secured their first win of the season against Sheffield United at the Bramall Lane.

The 31-year-old also produced the goal when the Eagles came from behind to earn a point against Brentford in the London Derby in the Premiership.

Ayew rose to the occasion again in midweek after climbing off the bench to deliver an assist when his side came from behind to beat Plymouth Argyle in the Carabao Cup to progress.

In all, Ayew has provided three assists in 4 games for Crystal Palace this season, winning him the Player of the Month award at the club.

He is expected to be named in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming AFCON qualification game against Central Africa Republic next week.
