Ghana forward Joseph Paintsil reacts as Genk beat Anderlecht

Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil has expressed his excitement after providing an assist in KRC Genk's 2-0 win over Anderlecht on Sunday in the Belgian First Division A.

The 24-year-old put up an impressive display as he helped his side secure all three points.

Genk broke the deadlock through Nigerian forward Paul Onuachu before Painstil set up Mexican defender Gerardo Arteaga to score the second.

The league leaders are yet to taste defeat in the 2022/23 Belgian League after 17 games played.

Painstil has been one of the consistent performers for Genk this season, scoring six goals and providing six assists in 14 games.

He was named in Ghana's 55-man provisional squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, however, according to reports, he is expected to be dropped from the final squad which will be announced today.
