Ghana forward Joseph Paintsil shares excitement after helping Genk beat Cukaricki in Europa Conference League

Ghana international Joseph Paintsil has shared his delight after helping KRC Genk to secure victory over Cukaricki in the Europa Conference League.

The Black Stars winger started and lasted 80 minutes as his outfit cruised to a 2-0 away victory over Cukaricki on Thursday night.

Paintsil scored and provided an assist to inspire the Belgian outfit to victory over the Serbian club.

After the game, the 25-year-old took to social media to express his joy following his outfit victory.

"Night sorted. Goal and an assist. Three points on the road." He wrote on X.

Genk opened the scoring in the 10th minute through Bryan Heynen after he was set up by the Ghana international. Ten minutes later, Painstil sealed victory for the visitors after scoring from the spot.

The former Tema Youth attacker has now scored five goals across all competitions this seaon for the Belgium giants.
