Ghana forward Kwabena Owusu targets winning Hungarian League with new club Ferencvaros

Ghana international, Kwabena Owusu has opened up on his target after signing a deal to become a new player for Hungarian giants Ferencvaros.

The player on Monday, January 30, officially sealed his anticipated move to the Hungarian club after ending his stay in Azerbaijan where he played for FK Qarabag.

In a statement, Kwabena Owusu has disclosed that he is elated and cannot wait to get started at his new club.

According to him, he will want to help Ferencvaros to win the Hungarian Premier League.

“It is with great pleasure and with praise to God that I can announce to become part of your family.

“In recent weeks I had the chance to learn a lot about Ferencvaros and I saw the world champions from over 100 years ago. I don‘t know many clubs with such a big tradition and it makes me proud to continue this path.

“I come to Budapest with big ambitions. I want to help the team win the league and the Europa League quarter-final. Our team is very strong and I can‘t wait to meet everybody and start playing for this wonderful club,” Kwabena Owusu said in a post on Instagram.

In the past, the Ghana forward spent time in Spain where he played for Leganes, Real Oviedo, and Cartagena.
