Toronto FC ended their three-game losing streak in Major League Soccer with a 1-0 victory over the New England Revolution on Saturday, thanks to a stunning 66th-minute goal by Ghanaian forward Prince Owusu.

The match, played at BMO Field, saw Toronto FC dominate with an announced crowd of 24,108 spectators.

The game remained tight until Owusu's decisive strike. Prior to that, Toronto had struggled to break through New England's defense, with goalkeeper Sean Johnson making crucial saves.

However, a defensive error led to Owusu's opportunity, as a clearance attempt by Ryan Spaulding fell to substitute Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty, who assisted Owusu's acrobatic backheel goal.

Despite Toronto's lead, they missed a chance to extend it when Federico Bernardechi's penalty was saved by New England's Slovakian goalkeeper Henrich Ravas in the 76th minute.

This victory marks Owusu's fourth goal of the season, following his impressive performance in the previous match against Charlotte where he scored twice off the bench.
