Ghanaian forward Zubairu Ibrahim scored for FK Jedinstvo Ub in their 1-1 draw against FK Indija in round 33 of the Serbian second-tier competition on Sunday afternoon.

The Black Meteors player scored the opener just before the halftime break, but the visitors scored late to rescue a point in the Prva Liga clash.

The draw means FK Jedinstvo Ub is still in fourth place with 49 points from 33 games, while Indija is 7th with 44 points.

Zubairu Ibrahim scored from close range on the rebound after his first shot was poorly saved by goalkeeper Milos Cupic in the 45th minute to send his side into the break with the advantage.

The game seemed to be heading for a win for the hosts, but the away side was not giving up and popped up with a late equalizer.

Aleksandar Desancic converted a penalty in the 90th minute to steal a point for Indija.

The former King Faisal forward now has six goals in 23 appearances as his side chases promotion to the Serbian top flight.
