Ghana international, Lawrence Ati-Zigi was in action for his FC St. Gallen outfit on Sunday when the team locked horns with Servette FC in the Swiss Super League.

The Black Stars goalkeeper started what is now his 11th start of the ongoing 2022/23 Swiss top-flight league campaign.

In a game where FC St. Gallen had difficulty defending, the team trailed at halftime after Dereck Kutesa scored in the 41st minute to shoot Servette FC into the lead.

Eight minutes after recess, FC St. Gallen equalized through Isaac Schmidt to restore parity for the team.

While the attack of Servette FC would torment the defense of the home team for the remainder of the game, it was goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi that pulled off fantastic saves to deny the team from scoring.

Eventually, the game ended 1-1 as both teams shared the spoils.

With his appearance today, Lawrence Ati-Zigi has now featured in eleven Swiss Super League games for St. Gallen this season.

He has two clean sheets to his name and has also been named in the Team of the Week twice.
