Ghana international Jojo Wollacot has debuted for Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League following his return from injury.

The Black Stars shot stopper was handed a starting role when his outfit played out a 2-2 draw against Ross County on Tuesday night at the Easter Road.

Hibernian took the lead with a goal by French forward Thody Elie Youan in the 42nd minute, and Jair Tavares extended their advantage shortly after halftime.

However, Ross County mounted a comeback with an own goal by Belgian defender Allan Delferriere and a goal by Jordan White in the 82nd minute, resulting in a 2-2 draw.

The 27-year-old has been out of action since August after sustaining an injury against Inter d’Escaldes in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers.

Wollacot lasted just 17 minutes in the encounter after picking an injury setback that ruled him out for two months.

His return come as a huge boost for Hibernian and the Black Stars, who takes on Madagascar and Comoros this month in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. He is expected to be available for the national team as they aim to brush aside Madagascar and Comoros in the qualifiers.
