Ghana goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot hails Otto Addo’s impact in Black Stars World Cup qualification

Ghana international Joseph Luke Wollacot has heaped praise on Otto Addo for playing an influential role in the Black Stars World Cup qualification.

The four-time African champions sealed qualification to the biggest soccer mundial over sworn rivals Nigeria with an away goal rule after a two-legged affair produced a 1-1 aggregate scoreline.

Speaking to Sahara Football, the Swindon Town shot stopper eulogized Otto Addo’s tactical prowess that aided Ghana secure qualification.

“Coach Otto Addo is very good, he incorporates his ideas and I think the boys are very receptive, the boys understood it and the game plan was right over the two games,”

Ghana has been paired in Group H against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea ahead of the World Cup.

The Black Stars will open their account against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.

Jojo Wollacott was handed his debut for the senior national team in October 2021 against Zimbabwe and has since maintained his position as the number shot-stopper.
