Ghana lose key Juventus superstar Kwadwo Asamoah for Egypt Clash

Italian- based Black Stars attacking midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah has been excluded from the Black Stars squad due to injury he sustained in training this week.

Asamoah, was omitted from the Juventus squad that played 1-1 against Olympique Lyonnais at the Juventus stadium in the UEFA Champions league game last night.

After he returned from the long injury layoff to play in the final 20 minutes for Juventus in their 4-1 win against Sampdoria on October 26, Asamoah was earmarked as a player who will help strengthened the midfield of the Black Stars in their crucial game against the Pharaohs of Egypt.

The Black Stars have gone four games without a win with pundits attributing the result to lack of creativity in the team’s midfield and tagged Asamoah to be the solution.

Kwadwo Asamoah has not featured for the Black Stars since October 2015.
