Ghana international, Baba Iddrisu is one of a number of very good players in the Spanish La Liga who costs close to nothing.

The 26-year-old has been a committed player of RCD Mallorca for several years and remains a key player of the team this season. ‘

Unfortunately, he picked up an injury on the final weekend before the Ghana squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup assembled for the Qatar tournament.

Unable to recover in time, Baba Iddrisu had to miss the World Cup and watched the Black Stars play at the mundial from home.

With the 2022/23 Spanish La Liga campaign resuming today, the midfielder is set to start in the match against Getafe after making full recovery.

In an assessment of players in the Spanish La Liga who costs close to nothing, particularly because of how important they are to their clubs, Baba Iddrisu’s name has come up.

The highly-rated defensive midfielder is currently valued 820,000 euros. Looking at the work he puts in for his club and his consistent performances, it is hard to believe that he doesn’t even cost a million euros.

In the current Spanish La Liga season, Baba Iddrisu has played 11 matches and will be making it 12 today.

Other ‘low-cost’ players in La Liga include Omar Mascarell (Elche, midfielder, 930,000), Andrés Guardado (Betis, midfielder, 640,000), and César de la Hoz (Almería, midfielder, 920,000).
