Ghana international, Baba Iddrisu has returned to training with his Atletico Madrid teammates on Monday following his discharge from the hospital.
The combative midfielder was in action for his team on Saturday when the side hosted the Spanish La Liga giants.
In the 92nd minute, Baba Iddrisu used his body as a shield to stop a ferocious shot. Unfortunately, the football hit his face, resulting in his collapse in a matter of seconds.
Subsequently, the medical team on standby immediately attended to him while conscious on the turf.
Unfortunately, the incident caused a major scare as the player himself appeared in so much distress.
Later on, the player was immediately rushed to the hospital where he spent the night under observation to ensure he is okay.
After his discharge from the hospital, the highly-rated Baba Iddrisu is already back in the gym and eager to hit the grass with his teammates to prepare for the next game against Elche next weekend.
