Ghana international Emmanuel Lomotey was on target for Ethnikos Achnas when they succumbed to defeat against Pafos FC in the Cypriot Division 1.

The former Dreams FC midfielder was called to action as his outfit suffered a 4-3 away defeat on Saturday.

Despite defeat, the Ghanaian midfielder delivered an outstanding performance for his outfit in the week 24 clash.

Pafos opened the scoring through Petar Bockaj after just eleven minutes into the game before Lomotey pulled parity for the visitors.

The home team scored to restore their lead in the 35th minute through Jairo before Enzo Cabrera restored parity for the visitors. The first half of the game ended 2-2 draw.

Finland international Onni Valakari found the back of the net two minutes into the second half to extend Pafos lead in the clash before Dejan Drazic leveled pegging for the visitors in the 76th minute.

But the host left it late to snatch maximum points in the encounter through Muamer Tankovic.

Lomotey has made 19 appearances across competitions for Ethnikos Achnas, scoring two goals in the process.
