Ghana midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi part ways with Swedish side AIK

Ghana midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi has severed ties with Swedish giants AIK, footballghana.com can report.

The veteran midfielder joined the Stockholm-based club from Turkish side Akhisar Belediyespo in 2017 and has since played in over 100 matches for the team.

Following the expiration of his contract at the end of the 2020 Swedish Allsvenskan, he has parted ways with the team and will look to seal a move to a different club in the winter transfer window.

The mercurial midfield enforcer has severed ties with the team following the expiration of his contract in the just-ended league campaign

“I want to thank Adu for three great years in AIK and not least for his significant efforts during the club's successful 2018 when we lifted Lennart Johansson's trophy,” AIK sporting director Henrik Jurelius told the club’s official website.

He continued, ''I also want to highlight his way of being as a person and he has through his character contributed a lot to the team building at Karlberg over the years. The whole club thanks him for his time in AIK and wishes him great luck in the future.”

In the past, Enoch Adu Kofi has played for teams including Malmo FF, FC Nordsjælland, Club Brugge, and a few others.
