Ghana midfielder Iddrisu Baba was stretchered off during Real Mallorca’s clash with Atletico Madrid.
The midfielder featured as his side inflicted a 1-0 win over La Liga giants, Atletico Madrid on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old fell on the ground after Thomas Lemar shot struck the face of the Ghana midfielder at the dying embers of the much-anticipated game.
Baba Iddrisu was taken to the hospital after failing to recover from the injury he sustained in the course of the game and had to be replaced in the game by Grenier.
He was instrumental in the Black Stars World Cup qualification over Nigeria last month.
Iddrisu played in both legs as Ghana edged the Super Eagles on an away goal rule.
