Ghana midfielder Isaac Twum wants to help Sogndal FotBall to secure promotion to Norwegian top-flight after joining club

Ghanaian international Isaac Twum has set sights on helping Norwegian outfit, Sogndal FotBall to secure promotion to the top-flight after joining the club this summer.

The former Black Galaxies captain completed a move to the club this week from fellow Norwegian side Mjøndalen IF.

The enterprising midfielder signed a three-year deal keeping him at the club until 2025.

In an interview with Sylvester Ntim of Koforidua-based Bryt FM, the former Inter Allies star said, “A lot of clubs were after my services, having signed for Sogndal, I can’t disclose their names”

“Sogndal is in the second division so I will make effort to help the club secure promotion to the top-flight and I believe with that my name will rise again” he said.

Twum moved from Ghanaian side Inter Allies FC to join Norwegian side IK Start in January 2018.

After almost three years in Sørlandet, he joined Mjøndalen, where he was an important piece.

He wanted to take new steps in his career and experience new impulses in a new environment.

Since 2018, Isaac Twum has featured 54 times for IK Start – and he also played 55 times and scored three goals for Mjøndalen.
