Ghana midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru has recovered fully from his injury setback in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The RSC Anderlecht midfielder was part of the final Black Stars squad that represented Ghana at the last AFCON in Ivory.

In a tournament where the Black Stars crashed out at the end of the group stage, Majeed Ashimeru ended the tournament with an injury.

As a result, he returned to his club with an injury that has seen him miss games in the last two months.

After spending weeks on the sidelines, Majeed Ashimeru made his injury return today as he featured for Anderlecht in a friendly against Zulte Waregem.

The midfielder put in a very good shift and should be fit enough to play competitive football after the March international break.

RSC Anderlecht in their next game will take on Royal Antwerp on Saturday, March 30.
