Ghana international Majeed Ashimeru made his return from injury for Anderlecht as they secured a narrow victory over Germinal Beerschot in Belgium.
Ashimeru made substitute appearance as his side cruised to a 1-0 win over their opponent on Sunday.
Luis Vazquez’s goal was enough for Anderlecht to snatch victory against Germinal Beerschot.
The Black Stars midfielder has been on the sidelines since August after picking up a hamstring injury in their game against Union St Gilloise.
Ashimeru lasted 81 minute in their season opener when they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat.
His return comes as a huge boost for Anderlecht and the Black Stars of Ghana.
