Ghana midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru has started mobility exercises as part of his rehabilitation to fully recover from an injury he suffered at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The RSC Anderlecht man was part of Ghana’s 27-man squad that went to Ivory Coast for the 34th edition of the continental showpiece.

He put on an impressive performance for the Black Stars and earned applause from Ghanaians.

Unfortunately, injuries could not allow him to play every minute in Ghana’s three games in the group stage of the 2023 AFCON.

Weeks after reporting to RSC Anderlecht with the injury, Majeed Ashimeru is now engaging in mobility exercises.

According to reports, the midfielder should be able to join his teammates to train on the turf in three weeks.

In that period, Majeed Ashimeru will miss several games for his club in the Belgian Pro League.
