Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru registers assist in six-goal thriller between KAS Eupen and Anderlecht

Ghana international Majeed Ashimeru registered an assist in Anderlecht’s win over KAS Eupen in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League on Sunday.

The midfielder started and lasted the entire duration as his outfit inflicted a 4-2 win over Eupen at the Lotto Park.

Ashimeru assisted Anouar Ait El Hadj, who replaced Francis Amuzu to score the side fourth goal of the match.

Winger Francis Amuzu opened the scoring for Anderlecht after just 14 minutes as his side cruised to a comfortable win over their opponent.

Lior Refaelov doubled Anderlecht lead in the 19th mark before Eupen pulled one back through an own goal from Wesley Hoedt.

After the break, Lior Refaelov scored his second goal in the 65th minute mark to make it 3-1 before Stef Peeters grabbed another consolation for Eupen to make it 4-2 at the end of the game.

Meanwhile, his compatriot Mubarak Wakaso featured for KAS Eupen for the fourth game running as they engaged Anderlecht in a thrilling encounter.

The hardworking midfielder lasted only 45 minutes in KAS Eupen’s defeat to the Belgium giants.
