Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru shines for Anderlecht in win against Zulte Waregem

Ghana international, Majeed Ashimeru was in scintillating form on Saturday as he bossed the RSC Anderlecht midfield to propel the side to defeat Zulte Waregem 2-1 in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

The midfielder after a slow start to the 2021/22 football season has finally picked up and is now a regular in the midfield of his team.

Over the weekend, Majeed Ashimeru featured for RSC Anderlecht when he started for the team in the away game against Zulte Waregem.

The player excelled with his performance and was involved in the build-up to his team’s first goal scored by Cristian Koume in the 18th minute.

Later in the 38th minute, Majeed Ashimeru assisted Lior Rafaelov to score to double the lead for RSC Anderlecht.

Although Zinho Gano grabbed a consolation goal for Zulte Waregem in the 74th minute, RSC Anderlecht held on to cruise to victory.

Ghana’s Majeed Ashimeru finished the game with a high rating and set to enjoy more starting roles at his club.
