Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus in Ajax 'training protest' in bid to force through Everton transfer

Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus is reportedly refusing to training as he hopes to ensure he gets his transfer to Everton before the end of the summer.

Kuds has Alfred Schreuder that he wishes to leave club in search of more playing time.

The 22-year-old is widely thought to be a priority target for Everton in the final weeks of this transfer window as Frank Lampard seeks to strengthen his squad.

According to renowned Dutch sports journalist Mike Verweij, Mohammed Kudus is refusing to train with Ajax and wants to move to Everton.

Ajax have already turned down an offer from the English Premier League side to sign Kudus.

Kudus signed for Eredivisie club Ajax for €9 million in July 2020, on a five-year contract.

He made his official debut for the club on 20 September in a league match against RKC Waalwijk.

He has made 46 appearances, scored six goals and won back-to-back Dutch league titles.
