Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus is a better player than Dusan Tadic - Ajax legend Theo Janssen

Ajax legend Theo Janssen has blasted coach Alfred Schreuder for playing Dusan Tadic ahead of Mohammed Kudus, claiming the Ghanaian is a better player than the Serbian.

Kudus was sensational in the offensive positions throughout pre-season but has found playing time limited this season. He has not started any game this season, coming off the bench in all three games in the Dutch topflight this season.

His role from the bench has left the former FC Nordsjaelland player frustrated and there are reports Everton could sign him on loan before the window shuts.

"And then Ajax plays Tadic as the No 10. And why is that? - the former Dutch international said while questioning the selection of the Ajax coach Schreuder following Sunday's match against Sparta Rotterdam.

"They have to find a place because the important players have to keep playing.

"I think Kudus is a much better player than Tadic in the long run at the No 10 position. I would already be playing Kudus by now.

"Against PSV and in the Champions League, you can't be playing Tadic at No 10. I'm convinced of that."
