Ghana midfielder, Mubarak Wakaso is on the verge of joining Belgium topflight side KAS Eupen. 

The 31-year-old is in Belgium to hold talks with Eupen and is expected to complete the move before the summer transfer window end.

Wakaso has been clubless for the last six months.

However, the dynamic midfielder has been training with Qatari side, Al Sadd.

Wakaso spent the last three years of his career in China, playing for now defunct Jiangsu Suning. They won the Chinese Super League in 2020.

Mubarak Wakaso hopes to gain match fitness before Ghana coach Otto Addo names his squad for the 2022 Fifa World Cup.

As the transfer window ends on Thursday at midnight, we await the midfielder’s next move.
