Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso will return to Shenzhen FC after loan spell with KAS Eupen, Footballghana.com can report.
The experienced midfielder joined the Belgium outfit on season loan deal in September 2022 from the Chinese Super League club.
Wakaso has had limited game time at Eupen since his arrival, making only 10 appearances for the club.
Footballghana.com understands Eupen will not extend his deal and will, however, return to parent club, Shenzhen FC after the expiration of his contract this summer.
Eupen have decided to part ways with six players at the end of the 2022/23 season, with the Ghanaian international no exception.
Wakaso return to Shenzhen in the summer will come as a huge boost for Shenzhen FC in the 2023 Chinese Super League season.
The 32-year-old could feature for the club in the second half of the Chinese top-flight, which commenced few weeks ago.
